Congratulations on making it through another week! You deserve an ice cream cone — treat yourself today!
Here’s this week’s question for the comments: With the world so crazy right now, how do you stay focused — not only on work, but on the things you love? And what are you doing to relax your mind amid all the chaos? Which TV shows/movies do you watch? Do you have a hobby?
Yes, I’m asking for myself. But I think everyone will find your answers helpful!
Oh, also: Could you share this newsletter with at least a few people? You can tweet it, forward it over email, whatever you want. The more readers and awareness, the more tips we’ll get on jobs and gigs. I want to get you exclusive opportunities! You can also hit the heart up top to help us rank higher on Substack. Thank you!
One more thing: I decided not to post the long job descriptions because it slows down the process, makes the newsletter harder to read, and if you are interested in a job, you’re going to click through anyway. Plus, it allows me to include more jobs!

For the comments: With the world so crazy right now, how do you stay focused — not only on work, but on the things you love? And what are you doing to relax your mind amid all the chaos? Which TV shows/movies do you watch? Do you have a hobby? Where’s your happy place?
I always watch animated series whenever I want to unwind. I just love watching animated series no matter the mood! She-Ra, ATLA, and The Owl House are three of the most solid ones out there.
Coming to the end (hopefully) of a long, severe lockdown in Melbourne, Aus, my mind seems to have gone quite dark. I'm reading about Ted Bundy in Ann Rule's A Stranger Beside Me (just fascinates me how even someone close to him could not imagine he could do such things for so long) and am watching the very silly The Vampire Diaries for the first time. Weird how blood and gore can be 'escapist'. On the more highbrow side, I recently finished a brilliant novel, Too Much Lip, by Indigenous Australian author Melissa Lucashenko. And plan soon on tackling Charlie Kaufman's chunky novel Antkind, which I'm very curious about. (Love his movies, though I wonder how his mind will splay out without the parameters set by a film and its collaborative aspect.)
