I largely focus on writing, but I'm always coming up with ideas that could use a good developer, designer or artist. I started AbsenteeBallots.info as just a Google spreadsheet before I connected with a designer and web developer and now it looks 100000x better. If an artist or developer needs a writer, let me know!

This is excellent timing, because I just added a new page to my website for Sensitivity Readings/Consultations and Translation work! https://towerofbasil.wordpress.com/sensitivity-reading-consulting-services/

Full details on the website, but my areas of expertise centers around my lived experience as a Black/Indigenous trans/queer neurodivergent disabled person.

I can translate works from Ancient Greek, Latin or Spanish, and I would love to flex my translation skills for the first two. You can see my skills with the Afrodyssey snippet on my website, or another section I did for Translation Month: https://nationaltranslationmonth.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/BWright-Greek-Poetry.pdf

I suppose that was a lot of words to say I would love to work on a translation project and/or sensitivity reading, lol.

Thanks so much for putting all this together, Jordan!

My name is Bianca, and I'm an illustrator based in California. Cute and fantasy are my favorite themes-- I'd love to work on art for games or comics, and am currently open for commissions!

Love what you're doing Jordan! Really a great resource for creatives!

I write books primarily, including the recent The Bourbon King, the epic story of 1920s "Bootleg King" George Remus, and Stan Lee: The Man Behind Marvel, a full bio of the iconic Marvel legend. I would love to work with people/organizations that need a stellar storyteller to reach eager audiences, whether it's a full-length book, speech, or web content.

I also LOVE heritage consulting! [Mixing historical work with marketing/PR/Web efforts] Audiences want authenticity and an organization's own history is its best tool, from current ad campaigns to energizing and inspiring employees. I have researched/written several websites for companies that want to highlight their heritage. I'm currently working on an interactive online history museum for two companies that are merging to become a (multi-billions of dollar) software giant.

I'm looking into TV work as an on-air expert and/or host for history, spirits kind of shows, documentaries, etc., so if you know someone in that area, please send them my way. Doing a bit of screenwriting too, comic books/superheroes, and the like.

I'm at bob@bobbatchelor.com and www.bobbatchelor.com.

Like Jordan, my focus is writing. I've written a little bit of everything, but have professionally focused on screenplays/scripted fiction, interactive novels/game scripts, and freelance copy. I'm writing a novel on Patreon, poetry on my personal site brandonleetenney.com, and a friend of mine and I are searching for a motion graphics designer to help with a comedy project (think Seinfeld, in a group chat window). (email me brandon.tenney@gmail.com if that designer is you!)

If you need it written, I can write it. (Unless, ironically, it's something you need handwritten, then I absolutely can not.) (Thanks again for this, Jordan!)

Loving the newsletter, Jordan! I’m Angela, I’m an author and freelance editor (former in-house publisher) living in Melbourne, Australia (currently heavily locked down!). These are my books: https://literaryminded.com.au/books/ I am currently planning my first collab with an author I previously edited. We have a great rapport and the ideas are flowing. I’ve learned in recent years that one of my greatest strengths is structural and story editing (and advice). I’ve worked on books in many genres, but crime fiction authors keep recommending me to one another so I read a lot of that. I love working with books but I’m also curious about extending my story skills to other formats, such as film/TV... so I’ll just put that out there. Will probably be collaborating on a screenplay with another author I’ve worked with soon, so that might be a good way in. :) I’m @literaryminded on Twitter and Insta.

Thanks for doing this Jordan!

I'm Melody, I'm a visual artist, illustrator and graphic designer based in LA. A lot of my personal work also involves writing (particularly poetry), which I've been enjoying diving more into lately. I also love films and eventually, would love to get involved in that field in some creative capacity.

You can find my work at www.melody-hansen.com and on IG www.instagram.com/themelodyh, which seems to be more up-to-date than my actual portfolio right now lol. I love collaborations and am always down for new projects!

Thanks for this newsletter and also the opportunity to tell a bit about myself. My name is Tai and I am particularly skilled at social media and digital marketing, but also have been writing articles about the entertainment industry for years and landing some pretty cool exclusive interviews. I am currently furloughed and it looks like I won't be coming back to my Marketing Manager position, so looking for both full-time work and consulting work through my side hustle of Tai Freligh Consulting. You can check me out at www.taifreligh.com.

First off, I *need* to know the name of the beautiful cat! 😍 Second, I'm Carla, a freelance writer! I'm mostly focused on culture, health & wellness, and entertainment, but I write about plenty of other topics as well. I transcribe, too! Here is my portfolio: http://carlamdelgado.wordpress.com/ ✨ I also work(ed) backstage for local stagings of Broadway musicals (before the pandemic) in either the stage management or sound team! That's definitely something I deeply miss.
